THE MobiPalma APP

The MobiPalma app is very useful for people in Palma who want to use public transport. MobiPalma gives information on traffic conditions, the location of public bicycle stations, and information on the local buses. This app was designed as part of the EU Civitas DYN@MO project in Palma.

It's available in Catalan, Spanish, English and German, so it is very good for tourists too!

It's very useful because according to the Apple Store site you can... 

* Know when a local bus is coming.

* Find the nearest bus stop.

* Calculate a route using buses, or bicycles or a combination of bus and public bikes. 

* Schedule automatic reminders to be at the stop at the right time.

* Mark your usual bus stops as favorites and save them on your phone.

* Add to Favorites screen: bus lines, the combination of line and bus stops and bike stations.

* View on a map the congestion status of the main roads of the city.

* Take a look at the live feed of various public traffic cameras.

* Go to a bike station knowing the number of available bikes and parking spaces.

The European Commission awarded Palma Town Council with a prize in January 2016 because the app is a good tool to promote urban mobility.
